Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and love is in the air! Whether you will be celebrating with your significant other or sharing a “GALentine’s” Day with friends, feeling your best is key!
One traditional way to feel your best on this Valentine holiday is wearing Lingerie. I know this thought can be quite intimidating to some, so I’d like you to think about this quote from Dita Von Teese – ” Lingerie is not about seducing men, it’s about embracing womanhood ” . So, with that in mind, there are a lot of options for you to feel pretty & confident underneath your outfit . You can find higher end #lingerie At AGENT PROVOCATEUR & LA PERLA but if that doesn’t quite fit in your budget, Victoria’s Secret & Frederick’s of Hollywood are always good choices. ASHLEY GRAHAM also has a beautiful selection that fits all shapes & sizes beautifully.
Valentine’s Day is about spending quality time with the person you love . I”m a #foodie so I love going to a beautiful romantic dinner with my love. Here are a few suggestions for dinner on this special evening : 1) GIANNI’S at The Villa . It is set in the former Versace Mansion. That alone is reason to go ! It is beautifully embellished with flower walls, waterfalls, live music and rose petals. Its hard to beat for it’s romantic ambiance . 2) VILLA AZUR. This is unique in it’s setting. Think library meets tropical patio with more of a fun /upbeat vibe. The menu is delicious French-mediterranean cuisine and the service is always good. It is also a very memorable experience! 3) THE SURF CLUB RESTAURANT by Chef Thomas Keller. If you’re looking for great food & service The Surf Club ( Four Seasons ) is the place. The ambiance is beautiful and classic. (a little more tame than the previous 2 restaurants I mentioned) . Truly 1 of the best steaks I’ve ever had was here but if you don’t eat meat, their specials are always phenomenal, as well . 4) SWAN. This is David Grutman’s newest restaurant located in the beautiful Miami Design District. It is chic & very ” instagrammable “! The interior has a garden vibe & the food is unique , Eurocuisine. It is a place to be seen ! 5) CASA TUA . Italian is always romantic in my book ! There are a few really yummy Italian Restaurants here in #miami ( Macchialina, yum ) but Casa Tua has more of a romantic feel. It is set inside a boutique inn with seating on a lantern lit patio. (Hence the romantic feel ! ) It features delicious Northern Italian fare. 6) THE FORGE. This classic local landmark is always a
good choice . Good food & extravagant decor will make for an evening to remember. No matter where you choose to dine on Valentine’s Day the food will only complement the sweet & savory thing we call Love .
If you’re not in a serious relationship or simply choose to celebrate with your friends , I”d suggest heading to the Miami Design district and starting off your day with a cappuccino & Croissant at the DIOR CAFE. This hidden gem is located on the 3rd floor of the fabulous Dior store! It is a beautiful place to catch up with your Ride or die ! ( and of course to take a few pics ! )
Cheers to loving yourself , sharing your love & feeling loved ! #HappyValentinesDay
